Registering
your organisation
There are a number of benefits available to organisations registering with VCA: - Promotion of your volunteer
opportunities to the general public on the Volunteer Scotland website, thereby increasing your chances of recruiting volunteers
- Referring to you any potential volunteers that approach us who have indicated
an interest in the kind of opportunities you are offering.
- Access to information/advice/training on issues relating to effective volunteer
recruitment, supervision and management.
- If you would like to meet with other volunteer involving organisations (VIOs) you could join the
Aberdeenshire Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum. See the forum page for more information.
- Regular E-bulletins which will keep you up-to-date on volunteering issues.
The manager of a local charity registered with VCA said recently:
"Your volunteer centre continues to send us some interested and interesting folks. We very much appreciate
your service and can evidence the difference it makes for small charities such as ourselves"
Registering with VCA is a simple and free process, just requiring the completion of our registration form. We accept
registrations from not-for-profit organisations that involve volunteers in their work in Aberdeenshire and who have
in place appropriate insurance for their volunteers. There are a couple of other checks for organisations signing up
for MV - see our MV page for details.
To register just download and complete our organisation registration form and return it to your local VCA office.
