18.9.08 - VCA Consults on a Proposed Forum for Volunteer Coordinators
VCA is currently consulting amongst volunteer involving organisations (VIOs) on a proposal to set up a Coordinators Forum
for Aberdeenshire. There are a number of such forums around the country which allow those who coordinate, supervise or manage
the work of volunteers to come together in an informal environment to discuss the issues relevant to their work.
Over the next few months there will be a number of local meetings around Aberdeenshire where VCA staff will provide more
details of the proposal and invite comment and discussion from those attending. The first meeting is to be held on 29th September
at the Invercarron Resource Centre, Low Road, Stonehaven from 12.30 - 1.30. An invitation can be downloaded via our r esources page.
